New Roof for the Barn (2014)

On October 1, 2014, a six-man crew from Carranza Roofing and Remodeling
arrived at my home to replace the cedar shingle roof I had installed in the late 1970s.
Due to the disappearance of old-growth cedar, I decided on a significant upgrade,
selecting seven-eighths-inch thick, hand-sawed shingles in 24-inch lengths.

The entire job, including re-roofing the garage shed, was completed in one day.
It was amazing to watch. And while I have always been proud of having done this project
30-some years ago, I was very grateful to let others take over. My roofing days are behind me.
