When my modest Bush-Cheney curbside lawn signs
kept disappearing, I decided to step it up a notch.
I rigged this 4' x 8' sign on October 3, 2004, ready to face morning drive traffic.
Neighbors took bets on how long it would remain unmolested.
As it happened, it lasted until the day after the election, when the wind blew it down.
Passing motorists had no difficulty parsing my political preferences, either during the day...
...or especially at night!
Covering one of my bedroom windows seemed a small price to pay
to show my enthusiastic support of the President to those going either direction on my road.
