My Trip to Washington, DC

After a delightful lunch in the White House Mess,
Jennifer and I walked to the Holocaust Museum
to view a special Anne Frank exhibit
on loan from the Netherlands.

I was struck by Anne's insight into human nature
as well as her ability to express herself
with clear, powerful, and often poetic language.
