Celebrating my daughter's birthday on a gorgeous late-summer day

and I had a wonderful several hours together on her birthday-plus-one.
After presenting her with an Apple iPod docking station, thus enabling
her to play her tunes through her television speakers, we repaired to
Washington's famous Tony Cheng's Seafood Restaurant for some delicious
dim sum. Then it was on to a nearby theater to catch a matinee showing
of "Little Miss Sunshine." I love sharing these milestone moments with
my daughter. |
