A Different Christmas (2020)

The 2020 Wuhan virus and resulting worldwide pandemic
triggered months of restrictions which devastated our economy
and disrupted life as we had come to know it.
After testing negative, Jennifer drove down from Boston
and shared a quiet Christmas with her mother and me.

Our traditional father-daughter Boxing Day photo, the first without a tree.

My dogwood walking stick was a great gift from Santa.

...and by "Santa," I mean Jennifer, who apparently wants me to "stick around" for awhile.

A wet snow a few days before Christmas required me to
go "old school" with a shovel after the blower wouldn't start.
Fortunately, most of the white stuff had melted away by the 25th.
